What I’ve Learned From My Toddler
It occured to me the other day that I feel younger than I have in years. Simply spending time with Alex, and taking him to do the things he loves to do, makes me feel like a kid again. I’ve been out of the game a while though, so there were a few things Alex had to re-teach me along the way:
1. Falling asleep wherever you wish really can be fun.
2. It’s okay to eat dessert first. And last. And in the middle.
3. Empty Tupperware just might be the most fun toy ever.
4. Simply reaching out your arms can get you all kinds of affection.
5. Nothing is too low to get under.
6. Beds are not for sleeping, they’re for jumping.
7. Grandma’s make the best dinner’s in the history of the world. (In truth, I already knew this one)
8. Food seems so much more enjoyable when you get it all over yourself.
9. Cartoons can be fantastically hilarious for no apparent reason whatsoever.
10. People don’t get to spend near enough time running around in their underwear anymore.
11. A couch pillow, one wooden block, and a plastic spoon can create an amazingly beautiful symphony.
12. Love should always be expected and received on command.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!

Nice list. I really like number 2. And let’s face it, number 10 is hard to argue with.

I love your list, and I found myself nodding in agreement. I love #7 and completely agree with #10!
