Toddler-made Christmas gift ideas
There is no better gift than a handmade creation from a sweet little one to their family and friends. Lil’ Duck delights in coloring “piktures” for Grandma, Grandpa and other loved ones - it’s also useful for a birthday or “just because” gift, especially to his relatives that live far away. We also make a Christmas movie, taping little moments throughout the year and then compiling them into a nice DVD/VHS gift, which is especially appreciated by those who don’t see him regularly. We hand-make little paper ornaments with his hand or foot prints on them, with his name and the year.
Other gift ideas which I am contemplating this year: Photo coasters (to give away, I can’t imagine what would happen if he decided to launch them across my house, not to mention the drink atop them…), photo calendars (available at most photo printing companies) & some sort of easily created ornament which he can paint/create (I recall paper-mache around balloons with string as a child, neither of us are ready for that one though).
Start early, keep it simple and remember that anything personal from a little one is a wonderful gift!

I am giving my in-laws phtot playing cards. They love to play cards and have friends over once a week to play.

This is probably a ridiculous question (but hey I’m not overly crafty), but can you just go to a craft store and buy those 4×4″ pieces of glass and the roll of cork? I think those photo coasters are SO cute and would love to give them to my former in-laws for Christmas this year!
