Pinks & Blues Blog

by

Not to gloat but ….

I WON, I WON, I WON, I WON, I WON!! *Doing the happy dance around the living room*. I am so excited because I actually won a Guest Blogger Contest over at Pinks & Blues Blog. The topic for this contest was What Makes You Lucky, and since you come here because you obviously LOOOVE my ever sarcastic wit, hop on over to Pinks & Blues Blog and check it out!! Plus you can find out more about their ongoing Guest Blogger contests and maybe win one yourself!! Did I mention that I get a Gap gift certificate in addition to the added “net exposure” for winning? The certificate will come in very handy, as Alex’s skinny little butt is in desperate need of some of the Gap’s neat adjustable pants for little ones (they button inside the waistband to fit skinnier guys and gals like Alex), and I just HAPPEN to have a Gap in my local mall, how convenient is that?

Also wanted to share this adorable picture with you of Alex’s friend Eli enjoying the beach a few weekends ago. Man how I wish I was there this week!!

Congratulations on your win!! You deserve it. I love your sarcastic wit! ;) That picture of Eli on the beach is getting me very excited. We go to the beach at the end of April. I can’t wait to see how much fun Cole has playing in the sand on the beach!!

  4. Matt Says:

Congrats! That’s not a small feat.

Allyson, when you take Cole to the beach, be sure to get pictures of when the waves first come up and rock his world. He’ll be like: “OMG! THE GROUND IS MOVING”! :D

About Parenting Toddlers

Raising a toddler is one of the most rewarding experiences. We learn just how much love we have in the deepest recesses of our hearts and just how deep the well of our patience can go with only three hours of sleep. We learn to see the world from a new perspective and we delight in the very basic achievements of our children. Amid their tantrums and shouting "No!" toddlers help us to stretch our imaginations and rediscover the books we enjoyed when we were children. Rebecca will share stories of her own children as toddlers, review parenting and children's books and offer suggestions for everything from potty training to catching bugs with a straight face. She will share craft ideas, fun activities, how to form a playgroup, nutrition for toddlers, development, adding a new sibling, your toddler as the youngest child, adopting a toddler and more.
