Crockpot recipe - chicken & stuffing
I’m always looking for easy recipes, the crockpot is my friend and anything that requires very little prep work is wonderful to me. For all the other busy mothers out there, I thought I’d share some of my favorite recipes. Today it’s
Chicken and Stuffing, which we had for dinner last night and loved!
Chicken breasts (I use the pre-packaged frozen ones in the 4 lb. bags from Tyson - no need to thaw them)
1 Box of Stove Top stuffing (original or chicken flavor usually works best, but I use whatever I happen to have)
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
1 Tablespoon butter
Lay chicken into slow cooker. Pour in stuffing (uncooked), soup, and 1 can of water (fill the soup can up with water). Mix gently, then cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. You can add cheese or sour cream, as well as any veggies of your choice for a rounded meal.
