Developing musical appreciation, part 1
Whether your child will be a musician or just enjoy hearing others produce the music, it’s never too early to start teaching them to appreciate it. The first way to do this is to listen to high quality music every day, from various genres (variety is excellent for training the ear). Establish a mood with the music - up-tempo music (techno, rock, etc) for cleaning and dancing around, calmer music (new age, classical, world, etc) for calming down before nap and bed times.

We listen to music all the time in our home and we are raising a home full of children who love music and music instruments…I can tell that it does make a big difference even in the feel of my home and my children (even my younger ones) are learning to recognize instruments, composers and particular pieces of music!
Music is always a great thing to add to a home!
Thanks for sharing!
